-Written Tax Plan
-Four or five meetings. Four 1 hour meetings or 3 one hour meetings and two 30 minute meetings.
-Three-Year Review: Examination of three prior years of tax returns to identify errors and opportunities.
-Staying on top of the ever changing tax code and proactively contacting you to seize tax savings opportunities.
You can use the meetings however you would like. Here is an example meeting schedule:
Meeting 1 (1 hour): (between February 1 to April 15) Review your 1040 tax return before filing; discuss extension payments; address current year estimated tax payments and potential W-4 withholding increases/decreases.
Meeting 2 (1 hour): (between June 1 to Oct 1) Review/modify/implement the tax plan for the next 2 years; check and adjust withholdings or quarterly payments; discuss the pros and cons of ROTH vs. Pre-Tax retirement account contributions; assess the tax implications of investments, real estate purchases, inheritance, insurance decisions, and any changes in tax laws impacting you.
Meeting 3 (Oct 1 to Dec 15): Conduct year-end tax planning, including capital loss harvesting, charitable contributions and donor-advised funds (DAFs), business equipment and vehicle purchases, and ROTH conversions.
Meeting 4: Schedule a 1-hour session as needed to address any other tax or financial concerns, at any time of year.
